Why do you travel?
We travel because of either Playbackers around the world invite us for trainings or we go to Playback-Theater events and curiosity.
I like to travel, because I find myself refreshed and sometimes challenged by other cultures, other ways of living, other ways of doing things and other ways of thinking. I like to move, I am curious and I feel that I am more a citizen of the world than a Swiss person.

I have always dreamed of traveling the world. For 40 years I was never outside the Sowjet Union - only through TV programs and books.
Now I enjoy the freedom to travel and discover the world in reality.
Another reason is Playback-Theater and our Nimdy Project, which gives humanitarian support in Africa and Donetsk. (www.nimdy.org)
Sometimes we travel to visit our friends. We are also taking Lindy hop dance workshops in different places. Another interest is scuba diving.

I always like the country best I am in.

Not easy question. Every country is unique. And different parts of one country as well.
Every country is interesting for me because another culture, tradition, people who live in different ways. I like the variety of nature, animals, birds. Myanmar for me was very special: a lot of spirituality, beauty, not a lot of tourists.
New Zealand's ancient forests, lakes and ocean are also impressive. South Africa, Cuba, Papua, Lebanon, Italy, Finland - I can write something special about any country I visited.

What are you most interested in ? Do you have a specific focus or preferences on your trips?
I am inspired by many things. Especially by spontaneous and unplanned discoveries and encounters.
For example: stepping into an interesting looking designers shop and leaving four hours later having met the owner, shared our life and have become friends with her.

What inspires you?

When I am traveling as a Playback-Theater Trainer I'm gaining a very direct insight into an other culture. I meet people on a very individual and personal level. This is my favorite way to travel. Other than that I am specially interested in women's lifes and in art.
